Crown Holdings has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, hitting the midpoint of the company’s Twentyby30™ ESG roadmap. The global framework covers 20 measurable sustainability targets for 2030, focusing on climate action, water management, circularity, responsible sourcing and workplace safety.

A major 2025 milestone is the successful completion of Crown’s water stewardship goal: the company cut operational water withdrawal by20% globally, even while raising overall production output.

In 2025, Crown also obtained official SBTi validation for its near-term carbon targets and net-zero transition path. Additionally, the company issued its first-ever Nature-Related Financial Disclosures to better assess environmental risks and impacts.

Beyond internal operational improvements in energy, water and waste reduction, Crown is accelerating supply chain decarbonization by collaborating with suppliers to lower upstream aluminum emissions on a larger scale.

Company leadership stated that the solid progress reflects disciplined global execution. Moving forward, Crown will prioritize high-impact areas including water-stressed regions and deeper value-chain engagement to generate more quantifiable sustainability outcomes.

The 2025 report complies with GRI Core Standards, UN Global Compact principles, and SASB packaging industry criteria, and aligns with key UN Sustainable Development Goals.
