Packaging firm Ball Corporation has partnered with AB InBev’s Brazilian beverage brand Guaraná Antarctica to release a limited-edition line of World Cup-themed cans.
The commemorative cans celebrate Brazil’s five World Cup titles earned in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. Featuring designs inspired by the national team’s winning jerseys, they pay tribute to Brazil’s football legacy and Guaraná Antarctica’s long-term partnership with the national side.
Ricardo Alberoni, Ball South America’s Senior Director of Strategic Account Management, noted that Ball works closely with clients to turn creative ideas into effective packaging solutions, helping brands connect with consumers memorably through strategic packaging design.
Ball applied advanced decoration technologies to the project, showcasing aluminum packaging’s ability to amplify brand stories on a large scale. It transforms ordinary packaging into an emotional medium to deliver unique consumer experiences.
The company also emphasized aluminum’s key advantage of infinite recyclability, which supports circular and sustainable development. Ball’s innovation always centers on customers, combining advanced technology, refined design and sustainable aluminum properties to create high-value packaging solutions.
